New Yarn

My daughters birthday was 12/7 and we hit 2 local yarn shops. It seems I have a yarn shop in my basement, so I contained myself to just a few...two Noro, one Fiesta, two Bamboo. Plus two new knitting needles not in the pic.

I saw the neatest scarf at one of the shops. It was a fan and feather, but done with scraps of yarn. It must of had 30 different yarns in it, but looked great. I think I may have to try that with my left over skeins.

Another Illusion

It seems I am stuck doing illusions, but I love them. This is another from Cheryl in my Yahoo illusion group. Hers was done in black and green, but I was in such a hurry to knit, that I used what I had on hand...black and a turquoise (sea print by Sugar 'n Cream). I really like it in these colors.

Sewing

I have not been sewing alot, but I have found the nicest pattern for purses: Simplicity 4117. It gives me room to do an embroidery design and get the sewing done pretty fast. I added an Asian design (from BFC-Creations.com) to this one and then added hot crystals to give it some bling.

Illusion Knitting

I think this is so neat. You have to look at the design at an angle to see what it is. I usually knit something and give it away before I get pictures, but this time I got a pic before it goes away. The pattern was designed by Cheryl in my Illusion Knitting group. (I love her designs and you will see more as I knit on....)

Trip On the Harley to Tenn

IT was 2 weeks ago that we went to Tenn. with the HOG group. I sat on the back and took pic. Have you ever done that on a cold day on roads so curvy, you can get sick?? I took 73 moving pic and they all turned out good. 13 hours there. Sleep. Shop at Smoky Mtn Harley shop,ride 12 hours back. Loved it, but boy was it chilly in the mountains.
